My GIS Porfolio

I’m excited to share the portfolio I created to showcase my work as an emerging GIS professional! It showcases the skills, projects, and experience I've developed as a University of West Florida graduate student and Chatham County Department of Engineering intern. Its purpose is to provide a professional representation of my technical abilities for geospatial analysis and real-world applications of my work.

Building my portfolio was a meaningful step in pulling together things I’ve learned throughout my GIS coursework and internship experiences. I knew right away which projects from my internship experience at Chatham County Department of Engineering would be best to display in my portfolio but it took me a little longer to decide on which ones to choose from my academic projects. I wanted to pull from my later courses so that I could show more of the advanced geospatial processing tools that I used in my coursework and I decided I also wanted to have at least one example that included raster data.

As a part of the assignment, I used the provided example interview questions to create an audio file describing my experiences and the highlights of my portfolio. You can listen to the file here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1y8pYg1Ie4Gd9ekKr6WI8UKc6H_AGCW8H
